How to get free WiFi on your next flight

Airplane flying in blue sky, some clouds, and yellow on the horizon.

Planning for your next trip, but hoping you can stay connected with friends, music, and shows while on your flight? Whether it’s a quick flight or a long-haul journey it’s always nice to have the comfort of wifi on your own devices. No one likes to be stuck with nothing to do for hours in your plane seat. To make it easier, we’ve done our best to find information about free wifi on as many airlines as we could find it being available on. If the airline you’re looking for isn’t on our list we either missed it, or worse, they don’t offer any free wifi options. RIP.

What airlines have free unlimited wifi on the flights?

Which airlines can you use free wifi services when you sign up for their (free) rewards programs?

What airlines have free messaging but not full wifi in flight?

T-Mobile customer? You can get free wifi on most flights with these airlines:

*Note that Alaska Airlines and United Airlines have free messaging regardless of your mobile carrier. T-Mobile customers get access to free full wifi usage.*

While we’ve done our best to give you the most up-to-date information on as many airlines as possible, it is always best to confirm the current wifi offering with the airline you intend to book with or have already booked, in case something has changed.
